The Technical Services Department of The Huntington Library is divided into three units: Acquisitions and Serials, Reference Cataloguing, and Rare Book Cataloguing. The head of the department is:

Staff in this unit are responsible for ordering and receiving a variety of printed and electronic resources, including gifts, for the library. They process invoices and maintain the library's periodical subscriptions. Questions about orders, subscriptions, and invoices may be directed to:

Reference CataloguingThis unit is responsible for cataloguing materials added to the Huntington's reference collection. Most of these items are printed books and serials, but the reference cataloguers may also process microforms, sound and video recordings, maps and atlases, compact discs, and electronic resources. Questions regarding the processing of reference books may be directed to:

Rare Book Cataloguing
